Each year the team at BMI holds the Urban Awards - a star-studded event drawing the entire entertainment community together to celebrate the songwriters, producers and publishers of the most-performed urban songs of the previous year.
This year, we are thrilled to team up with BMI to introduce the Social Star Award, an honor reserved for the songwriter who best demonstrates the power of social media to showcase their songwriting talents.
